Alamdar Hussain Awards

The awards are instituted in the name of Late Professor Alamdar Hussain (1953-72), Head, Department of Physiology King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan.

1st Prize:

The 1st Prize is offered to the Best paper presented by a PPS member up to the rank of Assistant Professor affiliated to an institution in Pakistan and the work presented must have been done within Pakistan. The award consists of a Shield, a Certificate and Cash amounting to Pak Rupees 15,000.

2nd and 3rd Prizes:

The 2nd and 3rd prizes are also awarded to PPS members' presentations ranked 2nd and 3rd Best by the judges. The winners must be up to the rank of Assistant Professor and affiliated to an institution in Pakistan. The work presented must have been done within Pakistan. The awards consist of a Certificate and Cash amounting to Pak Rupees 5,000 each.
