Pakistan Journal of Physiology (PJP) is an Open Access Journal and is FREE for academic and research use. It is a Peer Reviewed Journal and publishes original research papers in all areas of Human & Animal Physiology. All articles published, including editorials, letters and book reviews, represent the opinions of the authors and do not reflect the official policy of Pakistan Journal of Physiology, Pakistan Physiological Society or the Institution with which the author is affiliated, unless this is clearly specified. All submissions are electronic to reduce manuscript delays.

PJP is not funded by any agency and is publishing on contribution from authors. A nominal Publication Fee is charged from the authors since 2009 to cover the printing expenses. The Publication Fee is PKR 3,000 for a maximum of 6 pages, extra and coloured pages are charged PKR 1,000 per page. For foreign authors, the Publication Fee is US$ 50 for maximum 6 pages and coloured and extra pages are charged US$ 10 per page. The Publication Fee includes packing and postage for the Author's Copy.
